I got the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from my lovely boyfriend so of course I took a butt load of pictures of them, and more to come!
From all the presents I get every year I secretly look forward the most to the flowers. Of course to take some wonderful pictures of them but also because getting flowers from your loved one is such a beautiful gesture. Call me a dreamer but to me, flowers represent fantasy and imagination. They look like art. Nature will always be my favorite thing to photograph because it's the most natural thing you can call art. It inspires me, it captures me. Flowers are one of the most beautiful things in the world and even though you can just go to a flower shop and pay for them it's always really special for me to get flowers from my boyfriend. Not just a dozen of roses (I'm not really a rose person) but an actual bouquet, with different kinds of colors and plants together. While he looks at the prettiness of the whole, he also looks at what is the most interesting flower for me to take pictures of. I'm going to stop talking now and let the pictures do the talking! Hope you enjoy!
Granted, to show the beauty of nature you have to be a little smart. Good lighting, an interesting angle, a good camera, a dreamer behind the camera and a little lightroom aftermath can go a long way. ;-) More pictures of these beautiful flowers to still to come!

DUDE, where's my winter?!
I'm kind of freaked out by the fact that it's still warm enough to go outside with a light fall coat while we're going into december. Seriously, this isn't right. I've seen a lot of birds swarming around too, they must be at least as confused as I am! Last year it had been snowing all of November. It has hardly even been colder than 5 degrees celsius. I don't mind it not being cold but I have the feeling we're still in between september and oktober or something. I'll feel hella weird putting up a christmas tree while it's not even close to freezing! I know that there are plenty of places in the world where the seasons are not as 'pronounced' as ours here in Europe but still. I was hoping to have a couple of wintery shots by this time but as you can read, no winter here. More fall ish pictures! And there's more on the way too. Helloooo global warming!

Bugs and Leaves
The last pictures of this fall, probably! It has been freezing a little a couple of nights this week so I'm thinking it won't be too long before winter will break through. So here I am to warm up your days with some lovely colors and creepy crawlers! :-D
(I saved this little lady, by the way! She was stuck in the spiderweb so I broke the web and she flew away. I feel so good after helping little beasties in need, whether it's a kitty or a snail or a lady bug.)
Now he's crawling up the waaaaaaaaaaaall... black and hairy, very smaaaaaaaaaaaaaall... BORIS THE... Ladybug? :-D I'm all for unisex names, yo.
I'm going to buy myself a little present next month, for my birthday. A wide angle lens!!!! I WANTS IT. After that lens... I have everything I need, lens wise! I'd love to have a wide angle lens to take pictures of lovely wintery landscapes this winter. It should be possible next month and I can't wait!
